VergeLabs is the trading name of Nathan Derkse, Calle Fernando Fuentes 2, La Orotava, Spain. For everything below he is the data controller, reachable at hallo@vergelabs.nl.
What we record depends on what you do. Fill in the contact form or book a call and we keep your name, email, organisation and message. Take the Supplier Scan or the Ketencheck and we keep the outcome and (if you leave it) your email address. Request the Proof and we keep the transcript you send plus your contact details. If you are a client we keep what belongs to the assignment: agreements, files, messages and invoices. There is nothing beyond that.
This site uses no cookies, no tracking and no visitor analytics. We do not measure how many people read a page, so we do not know.
We do not do this work alone, and the parties that help us deserve to be named. The site runs on Vercel. The database, credentials and files sit with Supabase. Email goes through Resend. Scheduling runs on Cal.com. Payments and invoices run through Stripe. Search across our own knowledge files uses Upstash. With each of them the data processing agreement that comes with their service applies; ask and we will send you the version we accepted.
One processor deserves its own paragraph, because it involves AI. What you enter in the Supplier Scan and the transcript you send for the Proof pass through OpenRouter to a language model running at an underlying provider (in practice Anthropic or Google) and that processing takes place outside the European Union. With every call we send the instruction that only providers which do not retain the material and do not train on it are permitted; that is a rule in our code, not just a sentence here. We publish nothing from it ourselves. If you would rather your material did not go through there at all, do not use those two instruments. The rest of the site works without them.
How long we keep something depends on what it is for. We delete the transcript from the Proof once the page has been delivered, or sooner if you ask. Contact that leads nowhere we delete within a year. Client files we keep for as long as the assignment runs and afterwards for as long as the law requires. We sell nothing and share nothing with anyone other than the processors named above.
You may always ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email to hallo@vergelabs.nl is enough and you will have an answer within a week. If you disagree with how we handle your data you can complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work. For the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, for Spain the AEPD.
